Such a busy bee!

First of all, I must apologise for being such a bad blogger for the past couple of weeks. Since I have been home from University, I just have not had much time to relax and have time to myself as I've been working a lot of hours! It will all be worth it though, when payday comes! :) (Fingers crossed!)

In the short time I have had to myself, I have spent time with my lovely boyfriend and my wonderful family! The luxury of living in Norfolk means there are plenty of nice places to go for a picnic and me and Daniel did just that one day last week and went to a wonderful place called Blickling Hall. Its a huge stately manor that is a National Trust building that is open for viewings, and along with it has a big lake and some beautiful gardens to walk around. The sun was shining and we really had a lovely day out.

Another nice day out I enjoyed with my family was at a school fete, where my little brother had a lovely time on the tea-cups, bouncy castle and go-carts! The sun was shining and we all had a really nice day, just enjoying the atmosphere and being together :) We then had the pleasure of visiting my Auntie and Uncle and their beautiful baby girl Trinity, that was born on the 16.05.2011 weighing 6oz. She is gorgeous and so tiny! Daniel was a little worried I was getting broody, but I reassured him I wasn't, not just yet! ;)

Although not too exciting, I've just been such a busy bee. Fingers crossed I will have some more exciting things to report on in the future weeks. The summer is fast approaching and I plan to enjoy every second of it!

For now, I need to tidy my room and do some sorting out, I am having a new wardrobe delivered on Thursday so need to get a move on!

Goodnight xXx

Just a quickie!

Today has been a long, long day! I started my new job (I say new, I still work for BHS, I have just moved store whilst I am home for the Summer :) today, and as I have a 45 minute commute before starting work at half past 8, I had to catch the 7:30am bus too get there, ouch. My alarm went off at 6:00am, and I couldn't help but snooze for an extra 15 minutes. I surely am not the only person that cannot get up without snoozing!? The day went really well, and the people were really nice. I always hate being the new girl, but I'm sure I wont hold that title for long.

I've not done much since getting home, except play with my adorable little brother, who I cannot believe will be 4 on Thursday, the time has flown but I am happy to say he is growing into a handsome, lovely little boy! :)

Tomorrow I am happy to say I get my amazing boyfriend back, we haven't seen eachother for over a week, which is nothing compared to the 5 weeks we have been whilst I was in Lincoln, but now I am home we are looking forward to a nice, long, happy summer together :) I shall let you know whether we get up to anything nice tomorrow evening!

For now, I need a cuppa tea, some Easter egg and to get snuggled for an early night, my little legs ache so much!

Night night xXx

My weekend antics...

Here goes for my second post!
A lot has happened this weekend, I have officially moved out of my first Uni flat *sobs*, packed all my stuff and moved back home to the lovely land of Norfolk. Although its nice being home and looked after by my wonderful family, I am sure I will be fed up with it soon, and want to be back in Lincoln, but here goes to enjoying the Summer!

I can barely move in my bedroom at the moment and I am desperately hinting at my Dad to decorate and refurnish before I get too comfortable, so I will keep you updated on how that goes! :) I have though, managed to keep a few boxes packed ready to take back in September, so that's a bonus I guess!? :)

I have also today, finished and submitted the last essays of my first year at Uni! As relieving as it is, I do miss my Uni guys and girls already. I hope they all have lovely Summer's and return in September ready to party hard and make the second year even better than the first!

I must dash now, as if I want to make it into my bed tonight, I must get sorting through some of the junk that has accumulated since my move out!

Take care,
 xXx

Just the beginning...

I have been wanting to create a blog for so long now, and as Summer is fast approaching and I am nearing the end of my first year at University, I thought go for it, you never know where Blogger can take you! I don't know how many of you will be interested in my posts but sometimes its just nice to babble, and thats what I plan to do!

I consider myself to be a girlie girl that lives by the moto: 'Live, Laugh, Love'! I smile a lot, and I like to make others smile too! I try my best in all that I do, because I think what's the point otherwise!? I'm a performing arts junkie, and you will always find me prancing around the house, singing my heart out! I'm currently studying a BA Hons Degree at the University of Lincoln, and can honestly say that going to University is one of the best decisions I could have ever made! I've met some incredible people and some serious friends for life!
Alongside my ambitious and creative passion for the world of performing arts, I am also a girl that loves to shop! I love fashion, and if my bank allowance allowed it, I would be in Dorothy Perkins, Topshop and suchlike every week! I work as a sales assistant at BHS part-time, and as I say, I am a student, so my bank isnt always as generous as I'd like, but I know my time will come, and I'll be one of the lucky ones that has a wardrobe like Carrie from SATC!

My family and friends mean the world to me, and with thanks to University life, I now have friends all over the country! Although I live part time in Lincoln, my hometown is Norwich, and thats where my true loved ones are! I have a great big family that make me laugh even on the occaisional down days that everyone has, and I am lucky to say I have a very special man in my life who has been my absolute rock for the past 18 months. His name is Daniel and I have no doubt he will be mentioned a lot through out my blogging life. I can honestly say that I love him with my whole heart, and he makes me feel like the luckiest girl alive sometimes, we are still young (We are both 19, I should have mentioned already, I appologise!), but we just love spending time together and are constantly making eachother laugh with the silliest of things, so fingers crossed, we stay this happy for a lot longer yet! :)

I think I should finish here, just for now, as I seem to have babbled (I told you that I would!) for quite a while, and I don't want to bore any of you on my first post! If I have, please give me the benefit of the doubt, and stick around for a few more posts, I might surprise you, and if there is anything you would like to know, then get in touch, I am still very new to this, so would appreciate any tips you could give!
It won't be long until I am back, and until then, keep smiling and 'live, laugh, love'! :)
